Some people think girls wear Makeup to look pretty or because they want to conceal their “ugliness” behind a mask… Well these are some of the actual reasons why we wear makeup and I think they are enough:
Because wearing lipstick is empowering, it gives us that much needed boost of “confidence” because we like leaving lipstick stains and kisses on tissue papers and coffee cups and that is probably why we wear makeup… Because we share a natural affinity towards all things “fancy” and most products come in extremely beautiful packaging, they look really pretty in our little handbags and purse and that is another reason why we wear makeup, it’s something which is both, very feminine and personal but at the same time, it can also be easily flaunted everywhere… because compact mirrors are the best tools to help you checkout the guy standing behind you because we love the soft brushes stroking our face, ‘cuz makeup makes us feel like an artist when we hold the brush correctly, with the right tact at the most perfect angle, because we love all those beautiful shades and dazzling shimmery textures, because we love being spoilt with several choices, because we love the cosmetic smell of freshly baked bricks and perfumed glosses, because we’ve been waiting our entire childhood to finally use those elusive palettes… because as women we have every right to wear makeup and that is exactly why we wear it.
